Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the mornings and unwind in cozy rooms with fireplaces. the communal wine and cheese sessions provide a chance to meet other guests and exchange recommendations. the inn's lush and floral grounds create a serene atmosphere, adding to the overall charm of the place.

The Whale Watch Inn offers incredible value for money, with prices that won't break the bank. Situated on a cliff along the rugged California coast just off Highway 1, this hotel boasts stunning ocean views. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, with cozy fireplaces and even small kitchens for added convenience. The attention to detail is evident, with amenities like jacuzzi tubs and outside decks that allow guests to fully immerse themselves in the beauty of the surroundings. The staff provides top-notch service, and the breakfast, which can even be delivered to your room, is simply superb.

The Whale Watch Inn is a hidden gem nestled on the cliffs of the rugged California coast. Its stunning location just off of the highway, surrounded by lush vegetation, provides a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The attention to detail in this hotel is superb, from the rooms with a queen four poster bed to the cozy fireplace that we enjoyed daily. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we stepped foot into the hotel. The first breakfast delivered to our room was a delightful surprise, allowing us to start our day off right with a delicious meal.

All was well during our stay.

We had an amazing weekend at this hotel! The breakfasts were delicious and served on time. The view from our room was breathtaking, especially when the fog rolled in. We enjoyed strolling on the clean and uncrowded beach. It was a bonus to see a whale even though it wasn't the migration season. The wine and cheese gathering was a great way to meet other guests and the local divers showing off their fresh abalone was a special treat.

The landscaping and overall maintenance of the hotel could use some improvement.

Room had a beautiful ocean view and a nice hot tub. Breakfast was delicious and had good variety. Location was close to good restaurants.

Room was outdated and not well maintained. Staircase was wobbly.
